Equipment

IPI-100 provides, under normal conditions of use, the measurement of the tangent of the dielectric loss angle tgδ and the capacitance of the measurement objects Cx in the ranges and with the basic measurement error given below:

- measurement range of dielectric loss tangent

from 5 10 -4 to 0.3;

- the maximum permissible absolute basic error when measuring the tangent of the angle of dielectric losses, for the entire range of capacitance measurement at the frequency of the test voltage:

50 Hz

+ (5 . 10 -4 + 0.05 tgδ)

54Hz

+ (1 . 10 -3 + 0.13 tgδ)

capacitance measurement range at test voltage:

100kV

from 25pF to 3nF;

50kV

from 50pF to 6nF;

- the limit of the permissible basic error when measuring the capacitance at the frequency:

50 Hz

0.5pF + 0.03 Cx;

54Hz

0.5pF + 0.04 Cx;

- voltage measurement range

from 10 to 100 kV;

- the limit of the permissible relative error when measuring the rms voltage at the frequency:

50 Hz

+ 3%;

54Hz

+ 3%.

Note: The meter recalculates the tangent of the dielectric loss angle measured at a frequency of 54Hz to a frequency of 50Hz.

The limit of the permissible additional measurement error caused by a change in the ambient temperature from normal (20 ± 5 ° С) to any within the working area does not exceed half the limit of the permissible basic measurement error (clause 1.2.2) for every 10 deg. temperature changes.

IPI-100 allows measurement in "straight" and "inverted" measurement schemes, which provides measurement of the insulation parameters of objects, both with isolated and grounded terminals.

IPI-100 provides output of measurement results to the liquid crystal display (LCD) of the indication module. Communication between the measuring unit and the display unit is carried out via a radio channel in the frequency range 845-945 MHz. The stability of radio communication at a distance of 5-7 m is ensured by the transmitter output power level of 1 mW.

The image of numbers and signs on the display is distinguishable at a distance of at least 0.8 m with an external illumination of 10 to 1000 lux.

IPI-100 in normal and working conditions of use is ready for operation within no more than 1 min after switching on.

The operating time of the meter is determined by the energy consumption of the electrochemical batteries used. With a battery capacity of 1800 mAh, the operating time is at least 10 hours.

Mean time between failures for operating conditions of use is not less than 4000 hours.

The average service life of the meter is at least 8 years.

The overall dimensions and weight of the meter components are shown in Table 1.

IPI-100 is supplied with the set specified in Table 1

IPI-100 is designed to measure the tangent of dielectric loss angle tgδ and high-voltage insulation capacitance C during maintenance, repair, commissioning, testing of various energy facilities both at their installation site and in laboratory conditions.

IPI-100 is manufactured in a version that meets the requirements of GOST 22261 for electronic measuring devices of group 3.

Meter operating conditions

IPI-100 has the following normal conditions of use:

  • ambient air temperature, ° С 20 ± 5;
  • relative air humidity,% 30–50;
  • atmospheric pressure, kPa (mm Hg) 84-106 (630-795);
  • power supply frequency, Hz 50 ± 1;

IPI-100 is designed for operation in the following operating conditions of use:
