KAEL-3 MOBILE CABLE ELECTRIC LABORATORY
The mobile cable electric laboratory KAEL-3 (hereinafter - "KAEL-3") is installed in the van of a car and is intended for:
- testing of cable insulation (including with XLPE insulation) and other devices and devices with direct and alternating (50 Hz) high voltage
- burning of defective cable insulation with its subsequent afterburning;
- determination of the route of cable lines;
- topographic determination of places of damage to cable lines by induction and acoustic methods;
- determination of the distance to the place of damage of cables with a voltage of 0.4-10 kV by a pulsed non-burn method at high and low voltage
Terms of Use:
- ambient temperature range, о С ………………………… ... from minus 20 to +40;
- relative air humidity at a temperature of 25 о С ……………………………. up to 80%;
- atmospheric pressure, mm. rt. Art ……………………………………………………… .650 - 800
The place of operation must be free of vapors of corrosive liquids (acids and alkalis).
Operation of KAEL-3 in explosive environments is prohibited !
KAEL-3 is powered from an industrial single-phase network 220V, 50 Hz. It is allowed to be powered from an autonomous power supply generator with a capacity of at least 2.2 kVA or from a ~ 220V network with an isolated neutral.
To fully realize the capabilities of KAEL-3, the generator power must be at least 25 kVA.

KAEL-5 MOBILE CABLE ELECTROLABORATORY
The mobile cable electric laboratory KAEL-5 (hereinafter - "KAEL-5") is mounted in a van of a car and is designed to determine the locations of damage to cable lines of all types, as well as
- testing the insulation of cables and other devices and devices with direct and alternating
(50 Hz) high voltage; - burning of defective cable insulation with its subsequent afterburning;
- determination of the route of cable lines;
- topographic determination of places of damage to cable lines by induction and acoustic methods;
- determination of the distance to the place of damage of high-voltage cables with a voltage of
0.4-10 kV by a non-burn pulse method at high and low voltage; - determination of the location of cable damage of the "single-phase short circuit" type.

In this case, the operation of KAEL-5 is possible in the modes "TESTING", "EXTERNAL CONNECTIONS", "GAUV-20kV", "GAUV-5kV" at U charger 3kV.

COMBINED ELECTROTECHNICAL MOBILE LABORATORY ETL-35K
A combined electrotechnical mobile laboratory (hereinafter - ETL-35K) is mounted in a van and is intended for:
- testing the insulation of high-voltage insulators, electrical cables and other devices and devices with high rectified (up to 60 kV) and alternating (up to 100 kV) power frequency voltage;
- measurements of the tangent of the angle of dielectric losses and capacitance at voltages up to 10 kV;
- low voltage measurements;
- burning and burning of defective cable insulation;
- determination of the distance to the place of damage of high-voltage cables at low voltage and by impulse burn-free method at high voltage;
- determination of the route of cable lines with a voltage of 6-10 kV;
- topographic determination of places of damage to cable lines by induction and acoustic methods.
ETL-35K equipment and devices are designed for operation in regions with a temperate climate. Terms of Use:
- ambient temperature range, о С - from minus 20 to +40;
- relative humidity at a temperature of 25 C - up to 80%;
ETL-35K is powered from an industrial single-phase network 220V, 50 Hz.
ETL-35K can be powered from an autonomous power supply generator of appropriate power.
The laboratory is serviced by a team of two operators who have a permit to work in circuits with voltages above 1000 V.
