  1. Universal breakdown installation UPU-6 (hereinafter referred to as UPU-6) is intended for testing the insulation of electrical equipment and materials with alternating sinusoidal voltage with a frequency of 50 Hz and rectified voltage of negative polarity, adjustable within 0-6 kV with an output current of up to 100 mA at GOST6433.3-71
    The field of application is electrical engineering and power engineering.
Due to the increased output current, the installation can be used for testing the insulation of large electrical machines at alternating voltage. It can be successfully used for testing protective equipment for appropriate voltages (gloves, etc.), as well as for charging capacitive energy storage devices.
