Control rack

ETL-35T OPERATION IS CONTROLLED FROM THE CONTROL STAND.

THE RACK CONTAINS:

  • three-phase mains switch with visible open circuit;
  • network sockets 220V;
  • regulating autotransformer (RNO);
  • low-voltage measurement unit BNI;
  • microprocessor control unit;
  • dielectric loss meter IDP-10;
  • three-phase voltage regulator.

Dielectric loss meter IDP-10

Dielectric loss meter IDP-10 is designed to measure the capacity and dielectric loss tangent of equipment insulation at voltages up to 10 kV

The bridge supply voltage (0-10 kV) is measured in the control unit.

Short-circuits

Short-circuits KZMK-100 (included in the booster transformer TV-3), 
 KZMK-10 provide grounding of high-voltage outputs UVI and IDP-10 when the electrical laboratory is turned off.

Wires and cables

Wires and cables are used to connect ETL-35T devices and devices to the power supply network, as well as to connect the outputs of laboratory devices and devices to the facility where the work is being carried out.

Some wires and cables are placed on drums, some are in bays.

The laboratory has a block of three drums: drum 1 with a protective grounding wire; drum 2 with a working ground wire; drum 3 with mains cable. Two adapters are attached to the network cable:

  • 4-wire power adapter with crocodile clips and automatic switches;
  • 2-wire mains adapter with mains plug.

The first adapter is intended for connection to distribution boards of a three-phase or single-phase network and is designed for the maximum current load of the laboratory.

The neutral wire is terminated with a clamp, and the wires of phases "A", "B" and "C" are terminated with a crocodile clip.

When connecting ETL-35T to the network, it should be borne in mind that the ETL-35T control circuits are powered from phase "C", therefore, with single-phase power supply, the phase "C" wire of the adapter must be connected to the network phase.

 The second adapter for connection to a conventional power outlet (in particular to an autonomous petrol generator) calculated on the current load of not more than 10 A .

Control block

The ETL-35T laboratory is equipped with a microprocessor control unit designed for prompt switching on and off of electrical laboratory consumers, as well as for measuring the input and output values ​​of voltages and currents of the laboratory. The control unit is equipped with a liquid crystal display on which all operational information is displayed.

 

 

 

Low-voltage measurement unit BNI

The low-voltage measurement unit is designed for:

  • measurement of no-load losses of transformers;
  • measuring the resistance of windings to direct current by the ammeter and voltmeter method;
  • determination of the transformation ratio of transformers.

The low-voltage measurement unit works in conjunction with K-540-3 (or K-540) devices and a power supply of the TPP type (12V) or a car battery. When working with the BNI unit, you should additionally be guided by the operational documentation for these devices.

High-voltage testing device UVI.

The high-voltage test device (HVT) is intended for testing the insulation of power cables and solid dielectrics with a rectified electric voltage of up to 60 kV, as well as for testing solid dielectrics with a sinusoidal electric voltage of 50 Hz and up to 100 kV rms value.

UVI is a combination of TV-3 (A7.1-TV1) high-voltage transformer and BVI-60/50 (A7.4) high-voltage test unit.

 BVI-60/50 provides a constant voltage of negative polarity up to 60 kV, and

TV-3 provides at the output alternating voltage up to 100 kV. These voltages are regulated by the T1 autotransformer.

AC and DC output circuits are shunted by KZMK-100 (A7.1-Q1) short-circuits and BVI-60/50 short-circuits. At the BVI-60/50 output there is a high-potential current meter ITV-140R (A7.3). The description of the ITV-140R operation is given in the document “ITV-140R Operation Manual”.

ETL-35T operating modes

  • Testing of equipment with high constant voltage up to 60 kV.
  • Testing of equipment with alternating high voltage up to 100 kV.
  • Testing of equipment with alternating high voltage up to 50 kV.
  • Testing of equipment with alternating high voltage up to 50 kV of increased power.
  • Measurement of capacitance and dielectric loss tangent of equipment at voltages up to 10 kV.
  • Equipment testing using a low-voltage measurement unit BNI.

The ETL-35T mobile test rig (hereinafter referred to as "ETL-35T") is mounted in a van and is designed for:

  • testing of insulation of cables and other devices and devices with direct and alternating (50 Hz) high voltage;
  • testing of electrical objects at low voltage;
  • determination of capacity and dielectric loss tangent of electrical objects at voltages up to 10 kV, frequency 50 and 54 Hz;
  • testing of power transformers with determination of no-load and short-circuit losses, transformation ratio and group of windings connection at:

- three-phase excitation with voltage up to 380V;
- three-phase excitation with voltage up to 10000V.

Equipment and devices ETL-35T are designed for operation in regions with a temperate and cold climate and have a climatic version of UHL 4 category I in accordance with GOST 15150-69.

ETL-35T is powered from an industrial three-phase or single-phase AC mains with a frequency of 50 Hz.

The laboratory is serviced by a team of two operators who have a permit to work in circuits with voltages above 1000 V.
