The POMZ-3 receiver is designed to detect the location of a single-phase ground fault of overhead power lines 6-35 kV, radially branched type with a capacitive ground fault current of more than 1 A.
The receiver can also be used to trace the route of a ground cable with voltage from 0.4 to 35 kV under current.
It is possible to determine underground structures, structures, pipelines under the influence of cathodic protection (when a cathodic current containing a 100 Hz harmonic is applied).
The receiver displays the relative change in the level of the electric field of the fundamental frequency (50 Hz) and generates a warning visual signal when the field level exceeds 500 V / m.
